How to Know If Your Partner Is Faithful
There's no single test that proves faithfulness, and anyone selling you one is lying. But there are honest signals, and there's a sane way to use online activity as one of them without letting it consume you.
The signals that actually matter
- Consistency. What he says lines up with what he does, over time.
- Openness under mild pressure. A calm question doesn't trigger rage or deflection.
- Presence. He's with you when he's with you, not performing attention while elsewhere.
- His public behaviour matches his words. If he says he unfollowed someone, they're actually gone.
Where online activity fits
That last point is the one you can verify. If he told you he cut contact with an ex, his public following list is a factual check on that specific claim. Snoop Girlies can show whether that account is still, or newly, in his follows, using public data and no login.
What it can't tell you
A clean following list doesn't prove faithfulness, and a messy one doesn't prove cheating. People hide things well and follow people innocently. Online data settles specific factual claims, not the whole question of trust.
The honest bottom line
Certainty about another person's fidelity isn't fully available to anyone. What is available: whether the specific things he told you are true, and how he behaves when you ask. Those two, over time, are the closest thing to an answer. If the worry keeps returning no matter what you find, signs of relationship anxiety is worth a look too.
